The best place to buy them in Adelaide is Newmans Nursery, where they specialise in camellias and azaleas. There's a little restaurant and the staff know what they're doing. Well worth the trip out to Tea Tree Gully. Bunnings and Home Hardware also sell them. My nanna used to grow them (until she died ) and they are very beautiful.
